2004 Results
The results of the 2004 Illinois High School Combine are believed to be accurate based upon records taken during the testing procedures. The testing procedures were designed to be as objective as possible in order to limit the influence of human testing error. The DMH Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy staff closely monitored the entire process of measuring, recording, and inputting the results; however errors may occur. Decatur Memorial Hospital and the Decatur Memorial Foundation are not responsible for any discrepancies that may occur during this process. We encourage all coaches to review the video tape to confirm all data.
40 Yard Dash Disclaimer
Electronic times are slower than hand held times due to quicker reaction times and reduction of operator error. Because of this, it is common knowledge amongst coaches to make adjustments to the time. Our adjustment time, based upon averages (electronic time: 5.33 sec., hand time: 5.07 sec.) is 0.26 seconds. The IHSA uses a 0.24 seconds adjustment for electronic and hand times in track and field for the 100-200 meter dash (www.ihsa.org).

Due to an unforeseen oversight in the measurement of this skill there was an initial error. We have reviewed the procedure and a 12" adjustment (less than read to you) has been made in the results. We apologize for the miscommunication and all results have been adjusted.
